PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION

1. REMOVE TRUNK LINER. Close trunk. See Diagram A below. Along the drivers’ side, measure down 8 ¾” from the tip of the trunk lid back towards the rear of the car and make a mark with a grease pencil. Repeat on passenger side.

2. Leaving paper liner on the bottom of the mounting feet, place the Sportwing^® on the marks made in Step #1, see Diagram A below. As you face the rear of the car, the front tip of the Sportwing^® rests on the marks. Center the Sportwing^® exactly from left to right. Using a yellow grease pencil, outline both mounting feet. Remove Sportwing^® from trunk.

3. Remove the paper liner from the bottom o the mounting feet. Place the Sportwing^® back onto the outline marks made in Step #2 and press firmly into place.

4. See Diagram B below for fastening of the Sportwing^®.

5. Clean up any metal shavings that might have fallen into the trunk and you are done. Replace trunk liner. Holding onto the Sportwing^® while drilling and using a 5/32” drill bit (NOTE: we insist that you use a drill stopper, only extending drill bit no more than 1” past drill stopper to prevent from drilling through the top of the Sportwing^®) drill from inside of trunk, drill through the deck lid at the two designated spots per side on Diagram B and up into the bottom of the Sportwing^® mounting feet. Install mounting screws with lock washers and tighten firmly using a ¼” ratchet with extension and 5/32” socket.
